Big Weekend Ahead!

Posted by James Rich on

It's almost here! Yes, we're talking about Kentucky Crafted:The Market! It's the first show of our 8 month art fair/show season. There's really nothing you can compare it to in the state of Kentucky.  We are very thankful for the Kentucky Arts Council's initiative to showcase the best in arts, crafts, music and food. We are very humbled to be a part of this amazing group of creatives.

We hope you will be able to attend this year. Thank goodness we don't have a ton of snow on the ground like we did last year. The hours are are 9am-7pm on Saturday, March 5th and 10am-5pm on Sunday, March 6.  Due to the UK vs. LSU game on Saturday free parking and shuttle service is being offered 9am-8pm from Southland Christian Church on Richmond Rd.

If you own a shop, boutique or gallery there is a day for you to place wholesale orders with the exhibitors on Friday 9am-8pm. Please call the Kentucky Arts Council to register for free entrance that day.

We'll be in booth #158. We hope you will stop by to see all the new pieces and styles we are offering. Everything we will have is new. Since last year we've added our Torus rope long necklaces as well as a variety of petal fringe necklaces and earrings on brass. We also will have a nice variety of our Bleed Blue necklaces for all you UK fans so you can show your support in a very unique and fashionable way. Why not stand out in the crowd, right?

Next show on our calendar is The Indiana Artisan Marketplace in Indianapolis April 9-10. This market is similar in nature to Kentucky Crafted. They also graciously accept artists from surrounding states who are juried members of their state's arts entity. More information will be coming your way later in March about this wonderful show.

I guess this is it for now. We hope to soon feature more about the bead necklace class we had recently, upcoming classes and more about us. I know many of you know us both and how we created this business, but I know maybe most of you don't. So until next time.......
