It's been over a month since we last posted! We can't let that happen again as there's so much to catch you up on. We are in our trifecta month (so appropriately named since our state's most anticipated event happens in the same month....the Kentucky Derby), three shows in back to back weekends. We just got home from the Spring Tennessee Craft Fair/Nashville. If you've never attended or exhibited there, you should. It's a wonderfully operated show and the artists who exhibit there are top notch. This coming weekend (May 13-14) we are westward bound again....this time to Paducah, Kentucky...

We just completed our second show of the year, Indiana Artisan Marketplace. We love doing that show as it is such as easy show to do. The load in and out is super simple and they do their best to be helpful. It was only our second year, but we have already made lots of new friends there. So you're probably wondering what the title "Fish Eyes" has to do with this post, right??? We are just days shy of our next show, Indiana Artisan Marketplace in Indianapolis, Indiana. It's been four and a half weeks since Kentucky Crafted: The Market.  Indiana Artisan seemed so far away then, so how is it almost here?  For this upcoming show James has finished his redesign of our tables. I must say I consider myself pretty lucky to have a business partner who has a Master's in Architecture. Pretty much our entire booth has been created by him.  Booth lighting, our canvas panels with our jewelry images and name signs, our pendant necklace display, jewelry crate displays,...

              The BSpoken Designs Story It has occurred to me recently when we were doing Kentucky Crafted: The Market, that many people know our story, of how BSpoken Designs came to be......but even more do not. Tis the season for show season juries. We love show season (March-October)!  It's a lot like putting on a play (yes, I was a theatre major) as it's so much more than making canes and creating jewelry.  There are boxes and bags to order, jewelry findings to purchase, repairing and/or freshening up our booth and booth displays, not to mention updating our wholesale line sheets. After everything is ready, there's still the packing and the actual getting there. We're very fortunate when our families schedules match up and they caravan with us.  It's a constant build up until the show...
